RAM upgrade in Windows Server 2012

Hi Team,

One of my colleague upgarded RAM in Windows 2012 around 2 months ago.
Is there way i can check in windows logs that when (Data and Time) was the RAM upgraded?

If you do not restart server every day, check when server was shutdown around 2 mnt. ago and probably it took about 10 min to do this, so you will know. You can use msinfo32 /ph also.

Check the server event logs for restarts.  Windows, as far as I recall, doesn't log RAM changes explicitly.  It does ask you for a shutdown type, but there's nothing FORCING you to answer accurately.  Review your event logs for shutdown and startup events.

In particular, the system log, look for Event ID 6005 and 6006.  The Event Log service only starts or stops during boots/reboots.  So unless there's something seriously wrong with the server, that's when the things COULD have happened.
