I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Was the ca signing certificate published as trusted through GPO?

Potentially your new certificate does not cover all the needed.......

You forgot to attach the error.
Look at the old certificate detail versus the new...

SSL mismatch means you dont have a trusted certificate.
You need to buy a third party certificate to encrypt all your emails. This certificate must be a SAN certificate.
Once you get the certificate you have to make sure you have added the following domains inside of the CRT file.

Autodiscover.Yourdomain.com
mail.Yourdomain.com

After you have issued the certificate, then you have to install it in your exchange server and apply it to IIS, SMTP,IMAP.

Hope it helps,
