Working with Asset Hierarchy in Table in Excel

Hi
I need help to develop an Excel table to work with data on assets that are in a hierarchy.
For each data row there is an asset number. This shows the relationship between the assets.  It can either be a parent of an asset or a child of a parent asset.
If it is a 'parent', I would need to have the following:
- the word 'parent' shown in  column B, the row 'greyed out', and the calculation in column G showing no value
If it is a 'child', I would need to have the following:
- the word 'child' shown in  column B,

I would also like to show in column A the level of the asset in the hierarchy.

The attached spreadsheet shows on one tab draft table with raw data, and the other tab the appearance I am trying to achieve as described above.

Can someone suggest how to do this and also demonstrate using the draft table with raw data.

Thanks
