System Center VMM 2016 - remote login using windows credential.

I am having a weird issue with my SCVMM server. I have a Windows 2016 server with SCVMM 2016 installed on it. all patches to the latest version. When I try to connect remotely from my desktop (Win 10), I can't connect using ' use current Microsoft windows session identity'. What is weird, I specify the credential, and I put my credential and it works. I need to put username instead of domain\username.
that being said, it cause backup issue as Veeam also connect using domain\username. I am pretty sure resolving one will also resolved my backup issue.
Any advice appreciated

The problem still there but I found a workaround for the backup creating a local user with the same credential that veeam use to connect the server.
