iMessage issues sending to iPhones after upgrade to High Sierra
I've just upgraded my iMac 27" to High Sierra and since the upgrade I can no longer send iMessages to iPhone users. I get the "Not Delivered" red exclamation mark almost instantaneously. The odd thing is, I've been able to send messages to several none-iphone users - these go through fine.
I've already tried the often suggested logging in to the iCloud online control panel and deleting all my devices then re-adding them, this made no difference whatsoever.
I am also an iPhone 6+ user.

Tried that - all IOS devices on 11, all MACOS devices on High Sierra - made no difference
You are not alone.
Apple is fixing the problem on iMessage in OS X High Sierra.

I'm not sure this is the same problem? Messages I send to iPhones don't even leave let alone get delivered late. If anyone iMessages me, it comes immediately.
High Sierra has caused a disruption of service of iMessage in OS X.
Delivering late or not delivered at all are both sync problem from my view.

Update - when I checked my iMac at home, I found it is able to send messages to iPhones so it's only my work computer that's having this problem - both use the same Apple ID/ Password
Have you update to High Sierra for your iMac at home?
ASKER
Yep - all OSes on all Apple devices are all the latest
Have you tried to reset network setting in your Mac at work?

It's working fine on the internet and shared drives - could there be a problem that just affects iMessage?

Then If you delete all of your devices back to just your iPhone being the only authorized device in iCloud, check that iMessage functions properly
