M.S> Office 365
Small new office, purchased two new PCs and Office 365. Activated Office on one PC and her iPhone, then tried to activated on her second PC that is being used by her office admin. Her though is that when she purchased 365 it describes the purchase that it allows her to use it on three diff. devices. Office will not activate on the second PCs.
She is asking why will it not activate.
Please advise?

I'm logged in and I do not see an amount, all I see under "Manage your PC and MAC installs here" is a link "Install desktop applications"
this link shows install options for phone and tablet. I think part of the problem was the two new PCs came with 365 installed already, she activated her 365 on her computer and then her phone, may be that she should of installed from her office 365 portal?

Yes, it is possible that her iPhone took a license. Could you have her uninstall the app on her iPhone then try to license the one on the office admin's computer? Which Office 365 are you using (Office 365 Business,Office 365 Enterprise etc.,) ?

Business, she actually did not install the app; she just let me know all she did on her iPhone was setup her
email account

If you have Office 365 Business then you should have 5 devices per user. Could you log in again to her online 365 account and click on the "Office 365" on the top left then look for a "Install Office 2016" near the top middle and try to install it from there (after uninstalling the one that won't register)?

When I click on Office 365 (upper left) I see a "Install software" if I click on this Install software link it takes me to installation options for phone and tablet

all I have is Phone & Tablet
I see "Your admin has turned off Office install. Contact your admin for more information on how to get Office in your organization"

Did your IT department purchase this software? It seems as though they have her as a non admin or set a policy to block her from installing it. They would have to allow her access to "Office install" in order for her to install it. Please contact your IT department if you have one, to lift this restriction.

I research a bit more

I see "Your admin has turned off Office install.
It is related to the subscription.

My wild guess is that your IT admin has only made a subscription for Office 365 Business Essentials which do not include Office desktop apps.

"Small new office, purchased two new PCs and Office 365. Activated Office on one PC"
All new PCs purchased are bundled with Office 365 preinstalled. When you first sign on with an Office 365 email account, it will only associate the office desktop apps with such account and will not automatically activate it unless the user has been assigned a licence for office desktop apps. So, the user is only using a trial which lasts for 30 days.

Edit: What version of Office did she buy?
