Retrieve Gmail emails that were left on server by outlook.

We have an email system that routes emails to various entities based on the subject.  The account is gmail. We periodically delete emails from the outlook client, but "do not delete emails from server" was selected. We can see them if we log on to gmail via a browser. how do we get those emails back onto the outlook client?  We need to export to CSV and run analytics on how many things went where and when.  There are 13,000 emails so manual isn't an option.

Thanks

Hi,

Are you using POP3 to access Gmail?

If so, you could swap to IMAP - that way the emails will be synchronised between the client and server, and deleted from the server when deleted from the client.

If you want to keep a 'backup copy' have the Gmail account copy all incoming emails to another (Gmail or elsewhere) account, and archive / delete that periodicially as required.
