Images in MailChimp

I'm new using MailChimp, and I've created a "campaign" to send out to the email list for our non-profit chorus.  However, when testing, none of the images show in the email, only the placeholders.  I have a logo and another graphic.  Even the icons for Facebook, etc that are already part of the page design don't show.
I've reduced the images sizes, allowed cookies, running java.  Don't know what to do to get them to show.

Yes, I did go through that KB item.  I followed it as best as I can tell.
Logo in header is 197x64
Main text
Another graphic 600x390
small facebook logo
standard MailChimp footer info

The logo I put at the top doesn't seem to be a "logo".  It still shows the "logo" section title, and it won't go away.  I attached a screen print of that.

Can you please provide me the steps that you are doing to apply the logo header?

FYI – I did get all the graphics to show correctly in the test email.  I had to change my Firefox settings to uncheck “use hardware acceleration when available”.  However, the gray “logo” box never goes away.

Steps:
I clicked on the Logo header and the edit icon.
The image box opened at the right.  I uploaded the logo and inserted it.  I clicked on "fit" to size it.
That gray “logo” box never goes away.  And if you click on it nothing happens.
