Skype for Business Global Address List
I have one user that is not able to search the GAL for contacts.
He is searching within the “My Contacts” tab but his searches show no results.
He is using SFB on Windows 10. The rest of our users have no issues doing the same.
What am I missing?

Further information:
He is able to search most of the contacts in the GAL(old employees and new employees). A handful of employees will come back with "No Matches" when you search by First/Last Name. But if I search by logon name instead it works and displays the user he was searching for.
1) I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Office 2013 package completely
2) Reinstalled the KB to switch Lync2013 to SFB 2015
3) Downloaded the offline address book(via outlook)
I've gone around and checked with numerous other employees and no one else is having this issue. It seems to be isolated to just this one user.

Have you tried force downloading the GAL by regedit on the client's PC?

I did not try that because I didn't have the address book message after searching - “Address book synchronizing. Results may not be current"
I only had - "No Matches" come up
I don't have a problem trying it though if you think it's connected.

No you might have address book publishing problem in this case, what kind of Reverse proxy are you using to publish FE web services?
ASKER
Off the top of my head I want to say it is Microsoft IIS ARR.
BUT, how would the reverse proxy affect only one end user? Wouldn't everyone within the company be having an issue if that were the problem?

Oh! Great idea... didn't think about that. I will schedule time with him today and report back.

Unfortunately he has been traveling and has a Skype phone number attached to his account. He will be back in the office next week and has given me a time slot to disable and re-enable his account.

Any help?
