Boot Failure due to initramfs Error

Dear Experts,

I’m receiving “BusyBox v1.18.4 (Ubuntu 1:1.18.4-2ubuntu2) built-in shell (ash) then (initramfs)”. It’s seems I’m facing a file system mix-up after the upgrade which is creating a kernel panic. At each starup, after the POST, the initramfs (the initial ramdisk filesystem) used to boot into Ubuntu keep failing.

All that happen when I run the service pack and hot fix bundle (SPP GEN8 Post production) in my HP Proliant DL580 Gen8 server. After all the service pack were installed, I upgrade the OS from Ubuntu 14 LTS to Ubuntu 16 LTS. Until now, I'm getting the busybox error.

Looking forward to any help to have this sort out. Thanks again for your support. I appreciate.

This can be due to many reasons.

Try :
typing "exit" at the initramfs prompt, and then running fsck with something like

fsck /dev/sda1

(you should replace /dev/sda1 with your own device)

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling GRUB

Here is a nice how-to to do that.

Dear Expert,
thank you for your input. With the first instruction there is no way to write the "exit" in order to tape the command. The errors scroll down continuously without giving any lucky to write something.

Regarding the second option, when I try to boot from the live CD, I got the error saying the BIOS is corrupted and the live CD was not able to be loaded.
what happens after all the error messages, when the system stabilizes?
It keep showing the error messages in loop...it doesn't stabalize at all.
Just to make sure, have you disabled the secure boot feature in proliant's BIOS before trying to boot the live CD?
Hello Expert,
The NVIDIA card was causing all that mess. So, I remove from the chassis and reboot the server. All looks fine.
