What are you trying to do?  If both servers have their respective certificates, there should not be an issue. Server 1 would access server 2 just as any user.
This question has been asked + answered many times on EE.

This is doable + requires a massive amount of research + setup time + maintenance time to keep it running.

Search EE or two way ssl ubuntu

If this is your first time doing this, likely best if you start with Ubuntu + get this working, as docs are plentiful.

Once you know both the setup steps + debugging tools/strategies, then migrate one end of your connection to Windows + retest, then migrate the other end.

Also be sure to use https://LetsEncrypt.org certs so auto-renewal occurs automatically, so once you have this working, the entire setup will require very little maintenance to keep running.
