I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The easiest way is to mount the .iso to your local PC and upgrade it that way. Link

Edit: Here is the download link for the latest .iso. Link Release Date 2017-10-26

I dont think update manager supports it, when we upgrade we just use the tools built into the 6.5 to deploy a new VCSA and migrate the data.  Works fine

Update Manager currently updates hosts, VMware Tools, virtual machine hardware version, not VCSA.

upgrade is failing when SSO files are transferring... suddenly connection is lost between source and destination
