DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80040201

I am trying reload wshext.dll under syswow64 but i keep getting this error.  I have looked at other answers but they all say use the following, as an admin

run CMD
c:\windows\syswow64\regsvr32 c:\windows\syswow64\wshext.dll

According to other forums, this should work.  But this is where i get the error.  Can someone please help?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try this instead from a command prompt running as administrator.

 1. Click on Start button > type Command Prompt > (right click command prompt and click run as Administrator)

 2. Deregister the DLL using the following command

                         cmd> "regsvr32 /u scmt.dll"

 3. Reregister the DLL using the command

                         cmd > "regsvr32 scmt.dll"

4. You should now receive a succeeded message.
