Display internet bandwidth using SonicWALL TZ600 firewall

A company I am supporting has a SonicWALL TZ600 firewall.

We need to audit and determine how much internet bandwidth each user is using and what type of bandwidth is being used (for streaming video, streaming audio, file downloads, etc.)

How can this be setup within the SonicWALL TZ600 firewall?

Assuming it's licensed for cgss, you can see real-time but no aggregate weekly or monthly type reporting, that requires a viewpoint (I think they call it analyzer now) pr gms server.

if you are looking per user reporting, and assuming you have an active directory, you can setup Single Sign-On to translate IP addresses into Active Directory users.

When using Analyzer software, you can then create aggregate reports per user.

You indeed download Analyzer from your mysonicwall.com.

Then within mysonicwall.com you can activate the analyser free trial on the firewall licenses.

Analyzer by itself does nto require licenses, but the firewalls reporting to the analyzer need the analyzer license.
