I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use Nirsoft tools for this - connect remotely to the administrative shares then use them.  http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/#browser_tools

More effective, but in a firewall/router that monitors activity.  I'd recommend checking out Untangle - the free version can be put in in bridged mode (so you don't have to replace your existing firewall) and you can enable reporting in the web monitor.
