Exchange 2013/2010 Calendar Repair Assistant

I'm running two 2013 servers (DAG) and two 2010 servers.  If using CRA on all servers, must they be set with the same validate only or repaired validate setting?  Are there any issues running this across different versions of Exchange?

Also, what's best practice regarding settings?  I can't find any useful info online.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The CRA was introduced in Exchange 2010 and is available in all later Exchange and Online version. CRA runs on each mailbox server where it is enabled and can check with other CRA's running on other  Exchange Database servers . if it is set to Validate and Repair it would not just validate but also repair the inconsistencies that it would detect, however if it is set to validate only then I believe it will detect and Log the inconsistency in the calendar diagnostics Log. what is unclear to me as well is whether it would work across versions Exchange 2010 / 2013 in the same org.
