Non-Cloud Writing App for Android Can Sync to PC

Need a writing app for Android, like Bamboo Paper, which I can sync to my PC directly, without using the cloud to store or to bridge the notes over.

Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use editors and store files locally on the device, then use AirDroid or TeamViewer or similar tools to remote control via WLAN, including access to the device drive. USB connection can also be used to gain drive access.

Do you mean handwritten notes?

If yes, do you have a budget?

Hi Jackie,

Yes.  Handwriting app.  I'd say around US$100 or less.

Thanks!

The investment is not for an app only as you want to stay away from the cloud.

You need a digitizer pen with internal storage and the cost is over $100.

Equil Smartpen 2

But, there is no sync to computer and you need to do manual import to your devices (mobile or a computer) provided that you save your notes to memory of the smartpen.

Turn Bluetooth switch to OFF to help preserve battery life.
Attach the receiver to your paper.
Switch on the receiver (if in sleep mode).
Press the pen power button to wake up your pen, as needed.
Start writing.

There are three disadvantages.

1. High Price about $180 ($220 in Amazon US, $180 in Hong Kong)
2. Problem in Cloud sync
3. Security issue if you lost your smartpen and anyone who found it can import and read your notes in their devices
