Exchange 2013 autodiscover multi setup.

Hello Experts,

I have set the autodiscover to below config .
All things working fine but wanna to know if below setup is also the correct setup for autodiscover.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

One autodiscover should be good enough if you have the same namespace. Now, it would be the opposite if you have different namespace.

How does your configuration looks like? are you running DAG?

Hi , Thanks for your reply .

We have 2 mailserver in the main site that are standing in Dag group.
Then the other mailservers are located on the other site of the world and does not contain any dag group with each other nor with the mainsite dag group.
We use one name outlook.mydomainname.com for every virtual directory over all exchange servers.
We use round robin on the DNS for outlook.mydomainname.com

Perfect, so what you have to do is, if you have more than one ip with different server.
make sure you have added those host record as a part of round robing DNS, so if god forbid something happen, the client will wait 15 seconds until the DNS kick in with the second IP. I think you know that but I'm just summarizing.

DNS round robin

A host: autodiscover 1.1.1.1
A host: autodiscover 2.2.2.2
A host: autodiscover 3.3.3.3

mail.paramelt.com 1.1.1.1
mail.paramelt.com 2.2.2.2
mail.paramelt.com 3.3.3.3

I think you get my point.
