I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You probably missed the DSN...Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> ODBC Data Source Administrator (Probably 32 bit -- i you are missing it -->syswow64\odbcad32.exe) -- User or System DSN

Actually, you are far better off using DSN-less connections.

You could also have an issue with the other computer not having the appropriate SQL Server driver installed.

There is a mention for linked tables....even there is the trickery for DSN-less there is the need for correctly setting up the connection 1st time...

ok weird, the table will OPEN when i right click  ,,,,and select "Open"....but not when i double-click ??
John TsioumprisSoftware & Systems EngineerCommented:
Well the obvious thing is to check your mouse double click speed...if that doesn't helps then i guess its time to uninstall Access and reinstall it...
