Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Could you post the Error Number please?

There is no error number. just a pop up error window.

He is not using any PDF in his drawing. Just some regular organization chat. thanks

Also, is this a fresh install of Visio 2016 or did he have a previous version?

he had Visio 2003 (I know......), and I uninstalled prior installing the new Visio 2016.  1416 was popup yesterday in 2003. (there was a code yesterday, but not in 2016)

ITSysTechSenior Systems AdministratorCommented:
Were you able to reboot after uninstalling Visio 2003 or was Visio 2016 installed without rebooting?
mcrmgAuthor Commented:
yes, I made sure pc was rebooted after uninstalling 2003 first.

I would start by deleting all the temp files, there might be something in there causing issues. At the run command type %temp% than hit okay and delete everything in there and reboot.

Edit: I would assume the C:\ drive has plenty of space left?
