Running Horizon View Client on an existing Horizon Client virtual desktop?

We currently have a VDI environment on Horizon View 6.  We connect to VDI desktop pools with a variety of Dell zeroclients that connect directly to our view environment to get a Windows 7 virtual desktop.  I have kind of a unique situation where a few users in  particular pool have to access an application pool in a different View environment at another hospital.  Can I just install VMWare Horizon Client on our own virtual desktop without causing a problem with the already installed View Agent and View Agent-Direct Plugin?  I have a test environment to work in but I figured I would ask first to see if there would be any issues or gotchas.

I am hoping the application in question is an application pool and not a desktop pool.

Thanks for the response.  If I have a printer installed on my local Horizon View Windows 7 desktop, when I launch the Horizon View session to the remote hospital to access that desktop, will the local printer install itself as an available printer on the "other" VDI session?
So you have a printer on local desktop with VDI client

Does that printer work in VDI
