Software to backup Azure DB locally
Hi,
I used Red-Gate's backup software to backup my SQL databases overnight. But now we have moved to Azure's infrastructure and I cannot use this software to connect and backup Azure's databases unfortunately.
Does anyone know of any software that would allow me to connect to Azure's SQL servers and backup the database locally?

I dont have SQL Management Studio installed in the Virtual Machine. I would need to do that first.
Is there a tutorial that shows how to setup overnight backups connecting to the Azure SQL server from the VM ?

Are you using Azure Sql Server or Sql server in a virtual machine?

Azure SQL Server. the VM and the SQL server are not the same machine.
