Increase width of label single border in Crystal Report

Hi,

I want to increase the width of label border to 1 pt as for now it is only hairline.
The options available in the format section are single border, double, dashed and dotted.

I will be exporting this report to excel, so how to avoid the unwanted spacing of sections?

Hi,
If you use a box, you can increase the thickness of lines, but it has the drawback of not growing dynamically if your label content is dynamic, otherwise, this should be fine.
Can you show or provide more details on excel output issue? As we discussed in other questions, it depends on excel output and what we need to change.

The same report if I export to Excel then the sections leaves extra space. Even if in report I have not added any extra space between the sections.

Are you referring to space between report header sections a to d? I mean those blank rows 2,4,6 and 8? If so, I think it's because of the single line borders being used. If you remove those and fit section and cover each of those sections fully, there won't be extra rows. But that depends on your requirement.

Yes exactly by removing those extra 2, 4, 6 and 8 rows.

I tried removing bottom label border, but it didn't changed.

I am thinking of implementing it in single header

It won't change if you just remove top or bottom borders. You can try with single header though.

Not working.

I added stored procedure to the report. I am facing the problem where data is NULL in some places which does not reflect the borders.

Well, all I can think of to get borders when text is blank is to include another textbox or database field and make the text as white and include a border for that field and set same size and positions as in attached report. I have included a screenshot as well with the details of field use.
You can navigate to report explorer and check for the section in which fields used to find out the field and set the details.
