MS Excel - Eliminate cells with old dates

Need a macro to review a range of cells and delete any with dates older than 12 months.   (And shift cells left on the row when one is deleted.)   Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,
pls try
Sub macro()

For idx = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row To 2 Step -1
    Set c = Cells(idx, 1)
    If c < WorksheetFunction.EDate(Date, -12) Then
        c.Delete shift:=xlShiftToLeft
    End If
Next
End Sub

or maybe
Sub macro()

For idx = Cells(1, Columns.Count).End(xlToLeft).Row To 2 Step -1
    Set c = Cells(1, idx) ' adapt "1" for row position
    If c < WorksheetFunction.EDate(Date, -12) Then
        c.Delete shift:=xlShiftToLeft
    End If
Next
End Sub
