Dell Compellent SC4020 not accepting new Unassigned disk
I just put a 1TB (Official/expensive) Dell disk in as an additional disk, and when clicking 'Manage Unassigned Disks'
I get this message:
* Compellent
Dell
* SAN
Server Hardware
Storage

It's brand new from our VAR...the really expensive kind..
I did some research, and a number of folk "fixed" it by updating the Compellent's Firmware...
Wonder if that's my issue as well..?

well, scratch that : Updates are...up to date
maybe I'll go your route & see if the drive is not compatible or something..
