I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Probably a domain controller replication issue.

Run DCDIAG on your domain controllers and fix any errors.
Post here if you have any questions about errors you may find.

Hi Solomon,
Please try to check replication between domain controllers.
repadmin /showrepl
If that is fixed you should be able to upgrade.

Please try to run "setup.com /prepareAD" and see the results.  If this command is successful you are ready to go.

Is there any failed/stale entry of corrupted AD?
If yes please try to clean (metadata cleanup) it up then you are ready to go.
