Howto convert audiocd to mp3, preferrably with correct titles?

Hi,

Please tell me howto convert an audio cd to mp3.
Tried VLC but it puts the audiocd in 1 MP4 instead of several MP3's.

FreeMP3 ripper convertor doesn't recognize the cd (worked fine before). Have bought 'iSkysoft media convertord deluxe" but it seems it only supports video conversion not MP3.

Please advise.

You could also record what you hear using Audacity then save the selection and fill in the author track album.
