SharePoint 2013 custom column of subsites

Experts,

I'd like to have a custom column in a SharePoint list that's a look up column of all my sub sites. Is this possible?

Many thanks in advance,

Here is a link to SharePoint scripts:

https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/site/search?f%5B0%5D.Type=RootCategory&f%5B0%5D.Value=sharepoint&f%5B0%5D.Text=SharePoint

What you need would be a custom script, use a script that enumerates your sub sites, then add a function that writes to a SharePoint list.

Then you can use that list as a source list for your lookup column.

Good luck...

Out of the box it is not possible, however with some coding or powershell you could maybe do what you want to do.

Good luck...

Hi Walter Curtis,

any chance you can point me towards a powershell script that could do this for me?

Thanks,

I used the following approach https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESXbEESNytc.

My apologies for the late reply, took me a while to get all the parts working.
