IRISScan Pro 4 scanner hardware driver problem on Windows

I have trouble getting the drive to install properly with a IRISScan Pro 4 on Window 7. I am running Windows under Parallels on a Mac El Capitan. But, that should not matter.

What steps can I follow to first get the program to install correctly?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not true. There is a difference if you connect the scanner by USB cable.

How is the scanner connected?

What troubles are you having?

Which driver are you using? Have you tried installing the scanner under OSX rather than Parallels?

I can't find an IRISScan Pro 4. Is it perhaps the IRISCard Pro 4? Or an IRIScan Express 4?
