SQL30081N A communication error has been detected SQLSTATE=08001 DB2 --- toad client issue

I am facing the below error while connecting to DB with Toad client.

ERROR [08001] [IBM] SQL30081N  A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP".  Communication API being used: "SOCKETS".  Location where the error was detected: .  Communication function detecting the error: "selectForRecvTimeout".  Protocol specific error code(s): "0", "*", "*".  SQLSTATE=08001

I have re-started the Toad, uncataloging and cataloging is done.

It looks toad is not viewing these settings.

Can any one help me to resolve this.

Please try this from EE-
the most simple approach to check:
using ip addr + port number, try this from your station:
start->run->cmd.exe

telnet ip-addr port

if you can't use telnet, then your ports are probably blocked
you can also try to connect and in the same time run
start->run->cmd.exe

netstat -an

if you see that your connect attemp (you can find it by the ip and port of the db2 serveR) has status SYN_SENT
it mean you have some kind of firewall block

I have the State as Established. I believe ports are not disabled and there should not be any problem with firewalls.

I think Toad client is not viewing the Cataloged configurations at local machine.
