Battery Draining Problem

I installed two app recently, I found that my battery keep draining very fast after that.
1. InkCase app (It will sync data to InkCase via bluetooth on a regularly basis)
2. SureWin!LiveMap for pokemon go (It will scan the area for active pokemon and gym)

For SureWin! app, I have disabled the notification and only allow use the location while using the app.

Can you please help test if InkCase app will keep draining my battery if it keeps running in the background and sync data to InkCase?

Are you sure the InkCase app is draining your battery?
Check the battery usage to be sure:
Billy MaVice PresidentAuthor Commented:
InkCase's background activity at top 11, it uses 2%.
So I guess it's save to rule out InkCase as the battery drainer. 2% in 7 or 24 hours (depending in which list you looked) is not a lot.

Look at Location services (like SureWin is using), that will most likely be consuming a lot more battery juices.

Only SureWin! app will drain the battery and it is our guess only but you can prove it by:-

1. You can go to Settings -> Battery and you can see which apps consume most juice from the battery for today and pass five days.

2. Goto Settings -> SureWin! Live Map for Pokemon Go to Access -> Disable "Background App Refresh".

3. Play Pokemon games for a few days and repeat Step 1 and you will know whether  SureWin! app is the culprit.

SureWin only use location while in the app. InkCase app won’t use location service.

For battery, SureWin! only consume 1% in 24 hours, 1% in 7 days.

But you know, InkCase keeps link to the app via Bluetooth and keep transmit data, would this drain my battery?
Jackie Man IT ManagerCommented:
Conceptually, Bluetooth does not consume much power.

Do you see InkCase app in your list of apps under Settings -> Battery?

Do you play Pokemon Go game more often after you have installed SureWin app?
Billy MaVice PresidentAuthor Commented:
InkCase 2%
SureWin 1%

I always play Pokémon Go but I don’t use SureWin app very often
Jackie Man IT ManagerCommented:
1. Goto Settings -> InkCase app-> Disable "Background App Refresh".

2.  Wait for a few days and repeat Step 1 and you will know whether InkCase app is the culprit.
Billy MaVice PresidentAuthor Commented:
I have disabled all notifications and news auto update in the InkCase app. It seems battery consume slower.

Thanks for the update.
