Outlook 2016, PST not searchable

I upgraded 2 users from Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2016.

They can search their Inbox and other Exchange folders without a problem, but when they try and search for an item in their PST file, it always returns blank search results.

How do I make their PST searchable again in Outlook 2016?

Hi,

You should try to rebuild Outlook index or repair your Outlook data  PST file if there is corruption in it:  https://www.stellarinfo.com/blog/fix-outlook-2016-search-problems/

You should have a local OST file in the user's USER folder.

Open Control Panel, Indexing Options and make certain USERS and Outlook both are shown in the Locations settings.

If you change these, you will have to re-index as noted in the prior post.
