Why are users with "Contribute" permissions getting an error on the workflow for my on-boarding workflow?
I have created an on-boarding workflow for my company and the HR department. The workflow essentially sends out emails to select people based on the input for the on-boarding form. The workflow errors out after the first step when anyone in HR adds a list item to start the workflow. I have added SPEasyForms application to my list so that it hides phone numbers and addresses from other users who have access to the list.
When I add a list item, the workflow executes perfectly. It's only when another adds an item to the list that it errors. Any help with resolving this is much appreciated. WF_Error.png

The others adding to the list don't have the same access that you do it appears. Check permissions everywhere to see what is blocking it.
Good luck...

Thank you for your reply, but I have been digging through all levels of permissions to see what might be causing the issue to no avail. Other than Site Settings>Site Permissions for each page on the site, do you have any ideas of where else to look?

Look at the workflow settings. There is a checkbox there that limits the users that can run the workflow. Maybe that setting is set incorrectly.
Good luck...
