Unwanted Large font when copying from one worksheet to another

Hi,
I have tried everything I can think of to fix the following problem.
When I copy from one sheet with a font size of 11 to another workbook the font size increases to 20.
I had a while ago increased the font for the formula bar to 20 but since I have changed it back to size 11.
When I open both worksheets they show size 11 but when I copy some of the data to the other worksheet
it changes that back to size 20.
Any ideas how I can fix this ?
Thanks
Ian

I wonder if a Cell Style is being carried over.  On fresh sheet, try copy, then Paste Formulas.  This prevents styles from carrying over. Try that.

Copying to a new sheet the format is correct.
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
When copy from source to old sheet, try again Paste Formulas to avoid the style.

If you still get the large font, check in Cell Styles in the Excel Ribbon.

I copied all the cells containing formulas to a new worksheet as per your suggestion
and it worked fine. The data now being copied is correct size.
I can only conclude it was the destination sheet containing that data range that was formatted.
Thanks
