On the same drive you're trying to perform backups.

In some cases you would have to switch the databases to circular logging in order to get rid of some logs that can be unreadable. The reason for me saying it, is because it seem that newer logs are OK, therefore the incremental backups are working. However, when you trying to perform full backup, all the logs for the database are inspected and if the system can't read it, backup fails.

as per above article, I need to have 320mb of free space . I don't know where I need to check and increase the space on my exchange server. is it the page volume drive incremental backups are successful and full backups are failing

do I really need 320 mb space free on vss volume, this is my question
You need much more if you want your Exchange server to continue to function properly.
If the free disk space falls below the values, the Exchange will stop functioning correctly.
