"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is because of one way trusted. One-way trust between Domain A and Domain B means users in Domain A can access resources in Domain B However, users in Domain B cannot access resources in Domain A . That's why they are not able to access.

If the two domains have two-way trusts, authentication is possible with the regular configuration. But you need to configure the people picker appropriately for display name resolution.

You don't need to set SetApplicationCredentialKey as you would have trusts in place. Another thing to note is that SharePoint does not support Foreign Security Principals (adding users to cross-forest groups).
