Webcam over RDP

Hi experts.

***Please participate only if you have experience with redirecting a local webcam into an RD session.***

What software do you use to do that?
What OS does it run on, What server OS do you connect to?
Is it stable?

Run mstcs select options, look for attaching local resources to the RDP session.
Beyond that can not offer insight.

If one uses RemoteFX, that could work, but we aren't. It does not work without, unless you would use 3rd party solutions. So I am looking for people with experience with such 3rd party solutions.

After trying https://www.terminalworks.com/remote-desktop-webcam I conclude that RDP and microphone/camera forwarding is not mature, yet. It can be done, but many weird effects arose and those were not bandwidth or performance related: sound stuttered, sound not available in some applications and such. Googling RDP remote microphone / remote webcam confirms problems. The aforementioned software is the only software that supports server 2016, yet. Project stopped.
