Hyper-V, Network Adapters, SET as Prvate or Domain

hi,

Can someone tell me how to permanently set a Hyper-V hosts network adapters to Domain or Private?  I managed to do it on a 2012r2 host but can't find the article - this is for a 2016 HV Host.

Replication fails whenever I reboot unless I manually use PowerShell to set the adapter as Private..

Many Thanks,

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Elevated CMD:
sc config "NlaSvc"  start= delayed-auto
Net Stop NlaSvc && Net Start NlaSvc

The Network Location Awareness poll gets done before the network stack is completely initialized. As a result, it locks things down in Public Mode.

The above command sets NLA to start Automatic (Delayed).
