So many different possibilities...
Possible to test directly connected?
What do you have to do to get it working again?
Perhaps the printer IP address changing?
Can the wireless access point still see the printer? That helps narrow down if the problem is the computer or printer.
Disable any power saving settings on computer and printer to make sure it isn't dropping connection for some reason.

They are best wired, but if you must use wireless, be certain the printer has a Static IP address. Set this at the printer front panel.

Set the IP address, turn off the printer and restart it.

You may need to reinstall the printer driver.

John -i'll try that; right now i saw it was 192.168.1.5 if i remember correct
btw the fact that the image shows "netwerk"  does that mean anything?

i unstalled the printer - and reinstalled it to get it going again before, but now it would not uninstall, and when powering off, it was doing an update -  thank MS for that - without telling people... everything slows down &"à@#!!!

so tell me if i'm right here :
first uninstall printer from devices and printers -  then set the printer fixed ip adress
then reinstall printer software

That is probably your country's translation of "network " . It should be the correct place to look

And yes your last set of steps was correct.

I am on my phone for a couple of hours
I agree with John about setting a static IP address.  I've seen many printers (wired or wireless) that use alternate methods to be located where it works for a while, then the computer can't find it.  Static IPs, though less flexible, are much more reliable.

You shouldn't need to reinstall the printer to change to a static IP.  Once you have changed it on the printer, you should be able to go into the Printer Properties and create a new TCP/IP port with a static address.

If you do reinstall the printer, make sure it uses the static address and not the alternate method.  Even if you specify the IP address, some installers will revert to the alternate method.

Another advantage of using a static IP on the printer is that troubleshooting can be much easier.  You can ping it or use the web interface (confirm that it has one when you get it working) to obtain good information about what is wrong.
