I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

it's saved on the server in  your mailbox
not only does it show in outlook and OWA, the exchange admin can configure the autoreply for a user through the exchange management shell

You can't set 2 different OOF messages.
If you'll sent it in OWA then after you open Outlook you'll see exactly same message and if you'll edit it then changes will be applied to OWA.

OOF is stored in Mailbox Store so no difference what tool you're using, you are editing same message.

Again, this is same message.
If you will set it in Outlook, then OWA going to use this message.

This is like accessing SAME FILE in SAME SHARE location by 2 different computers. If one computer will change file, second one will see file after changes and vice versa.

goes back to my first comment
it is saved in your mailbox
no matter how you access it through OWA or outlook, you will get the same thing
create it in outlook, it appears in OWA

You can't set 2 different OOF messages.

you can have 2 different messages - one for internal and one for external recipients

like in OWA If I say I am out of office from Wednesday , and in out look if I say I am out of office from Tuesday

are you sure the internal and external messages are the same?
