reattach deleted VM back in inventory

I am using just the esxi hypervisor 5.5 and on accident reset the hypervisor removing the vm from inventory (Displaying and being able to manage) but still in tact when I go and view the contents on browse datastore. How do I reconnect this vm and get it back online. I desperately need data off of this vm.

Right Click the VMX file, and select Add to Inventory.

see Step 6. Register the cloned/copied virtual machine with the Inventory in my EE Tutorial Article below, for step by step instructions with screenshots

HOW TO: Clone or Copy a virtual machine in VMware vSphere Hypervisor ESX/ESXi 4.x or ESXi 5.0

also valid for ESXi 5.5 and ESXi 6.0.
