Laptop Screen too Shiny
This is probably non IT sort of question. My ThinkPad Lenovo Yoga P40 laptop screen is too glossy and therefore
everytime I am working on it, no matter any background color or windows, I can see strong reflection like a mirror on this laptop screen. Meaning I can see myself which is very distracting to me.
I was wondering if any one know of any screen protector or matt sort of sheet that I can use to reduce this reflection. Making the screen brighter makes a little bit difference but still pretty annoying to me for constantly seeing my own image like a mirror.
Screen res is set to 2560 X1440 which is recommend.
Screen specs: 14.0" (355mm) FHD (1920x1080), anti-glare, LED backlight, IPS,
250 nits, 16:9 aspect ratio, 700:1 contrast ratio
My Dell Latitude laptop E5570 had no issues.

Is the screen dirty (does it have a greasy film on it). My current Lenovo X1 laptop and my Lenovo X230 spare laptop both do not reflect much when very clean. I keep both screens very clean and that works better than trying to add something.

Yes it's very clean and spotless. When I maximize the brightness to 100 percent then it's kind of better but I don't want to brighten it that much in general, plus it's a nightmare for battery drain, loose battery power for this yoga p40 in about 30 mins only. Called Lenovo and they say battery is normal.
I have my screen about 80% brightness on battery.
You may have to look at a screen attachment - I cannot help you there.
Go Display Settings, Color Calibration (Display Color Calibration)
Check Gamma, Brightness and Contrast. Set these to the best settings. If that does not help, look for a matt plastic sheet.

I've both for my laptop this one
Anti-glare(matte) Screen Protector for LCD Monitor
https://www.ebay.com/i/282474186557?chn=ps&dispctrl=1&var=581621104525
It's bigger like you need but you can use sharp paper-cut knife and adjust dimensions
It's working very good.
