i have a old yahoo mail i created back in 2000. i still use the address for my facebook just cant get into the actual email account!
i dont have access to the number nor the recover email how can a regain access???i have old pictures of my children i would love to see plz help!!!!

I hate to say it but probably you have lost it..yahoo has the worst support ever...you just can't contact them ...(maybe a top class lawyer would)...

If you have not provided an alternative email address or a mobile number for recovering /resetting your password, you are out of luck. No real human are involved in the recovery process (in Yahoo wording - "your account must be verified using an automated system") unless you are a celebrity (just my guess from the 11 minutes disappearance of the Twitter account of the President Trump).

In short, it is difficult to prove that you are the owner of your Yahoo email account.
Just showing that you use that Yahoo email address to logon to Facebook is not considered as a valid claim that you are the owner of such Yahoo Mail account.
Yahoo has already sold all Yahoo Mail customers to Verizon and no one will help you to lookup the registration of your free Yahoo Mail account.
If you are a paid Yahoo Mail customers, the story will be the opposite and Verizon will help you for sure. My friend is a paid Yahoo Mail customer and there is a human customer representative to handle his account. Of course, he relies on Yahoo Mail and his request to recover his password is to fight against a hacker who stole his Yahoo Mail account credential.
If you are only a free Yahoo Mail user like me, it is unlikely that Verizon will entertain you at all as its terms and conditions for using the free service do not cover account recovery without alternative email address or mobile number. (in Yahoo wording - "your account must be verified using an automated system")
Unless Facebook wants to acquire Yahoo Mail and made an integration between Facebook and Yahoo Mail, you are out of luck for sure.
