I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Don't use a crosstab.
The first image above is just a simple listing with no crosstab.

The layout of your list is odd, you're asking it to group the second column but not the first.  Unusual, but still fairly straightforward; you just have to take a couple of extra steps.

First off, create a "list" and bring the three fields you want into it in the order you want.  Then, select the list object and go to the "Grouping and Sorting" property, and tell it to "sort" the type first.  Voila, you should have the output you're looking for.

You need to use a list object, not a crosstab.
