I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is this for a single user or a group? For a single user it is easiest to have them right click on "Deleted Items" in Outlook and click "Recover Deleted Items".

First try deleted items, then assuming you are using exchange 2010, got to Folder tab in outlook and click recover deleted items.

Another alternative is Exfolders.

If the retention Period has passed you will need to restore from backup.
