Office 365 requirements for Mac users

Anyone have a definitive link for mac users

I've seen that 6GB of space is required in comparison to 3GB in Windows why is this the case?

Also I've seen sites say 10.1 and 10.6 for version of OS X to be installed interested to see something definite

Safari version 5 at least is there a similar best practice for updates before installation as there is in windows?

The install method is different.

For Windows, it is called a click to run technology and MS Office is installed / updated via streaming.

For Mac OS X, you need the full installer.

For browsers, you need to update them to the latest versions no matter whether you need to install MS Office as it is the best practice.
