I see where this issued has been addressed, but I can't get anything to work.  I know is has to have something to do with the windows installer package, but I have no idea how is resolve.

It happens when I am trying to install a program using the windows installer package.  This is a windows 7 32 bit pro.

- Renamed C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys folder to MachineKeys.old
- Recreate C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys folder
- Moved C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys.old to C:\Temp\
- Re-run the installer

ASKER

Hey nobus:  Thank you for the quick answer.  That did not work.  Should I have rebooted before re-running the installer?

Hey guys.  Thank you greatly for all of these solutions.  None of them worked for me.  I am thinking I may have to do a repair installation recommended by nobus above.
Yes Repair install is a good option as suggested by Nobus. sometimes it needs a fresh Windows install to be fixed.

Please also uninstall your Antivirus and test again.

Did you try System Restore ?
