Moving VM server to new site

I need to move a server that has a VM on it to another site. I need to re-ip and then move it.I dont work with VM's too much so I wanted to make sure I did it correctly.

I have 2 LAN connections(1 that says"virtual network") on the physical server and 1 LAN connection within the VM. Do I need 3 static IP addresses?

They originally were set with DHCP using reservations but we are switching to a static assigned address.

If the IP Settings e.g. network is on this new site, you will need three Static IP Addresses assigning to all network interfaces on the Host and Virtual Machine.

You will also want to update DNS records accordingly as well.

Shouldnt DNS update automatically even with static IP's?

It should but you are relying on DNS auto registration, add them manually.
