Outlook 2016 AutoFill issue

We use Outlook 2016 for O365 email access. I have an issue with one of the comp executive Outlook. When he enters the first few letters of the recipient which is one of company employees the name pops up under one of his Personal Contacts e.g. John Doe with email jdoe@company.com appears as Jack Ripper who is one the personal contact. However the email address remain correct, it is just the name that is confused. I have tried deleting both entries from AutoFill, delete and recreate the personal contact and it initially works well and then is starts reversing again.
Any clue? I suspect a corrupt NK2 file but he really needs to use this one as he relies on those AutoFills.

Outlook 2016 does not even use NK2 files.  The autocomplete has corrupted, so delete it, restart and let Outlook remake it. The user will just need to understand this needs to be done.

It does not matter. Outlook 2016 does not use NK2 and Autocomplete can be prone to damage .
