Unable to configure manual Outlook profile for Exchange 2016 mailbox

Hello, we are in a state of coexistence with Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2016.

I'm having trouble connecting to an Exchange 2016 mailbox from Outlook 2010 when using the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types option in Outlook. When I configure Outlook to point to the Exchange 2016 Outlook Anywhere URL and Username and click Check Name, the server and name become underlined and resolve, but the Server resolves to the Exchange 2010 CAS Array which is Exchange 2010. When I then launch Outlook, I get an unable to open default folders. Also, I noticed Outlook Anywhere settings are greyed out and not available (screenshot below)

*** When I use Autodiscover to create the Outlook profile, it works fine. ***

Any ideas?

Also try making the Outlook connection from Control Panel, Mail. Outlook 2016 has changed recently and any manual control you might need (even allowing the above post) now needs to be done from Control Panel, Mail.
